why ten talent ministries

Ten Talent Ministries’ programs are designed to assist adult students (age 18 or older) obtain their High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma, and, through education in all areas of life, become more self-sufficient, thriving citizens. Our programs are unique, in that they provide year-round service, one-on-one tutoring sessions, personalized learning plans, long-term mentoring, and a holistic wellness component specifically designed to help students overcome the barriers to education.

In addition, Ten Talent Ministries offers our program as an add-on for other non-profits looking to expand their GED/workforce preparation activities. Ten Talent Ministries works collaboratively with other organizations to build their capacity to provide educational and job skill assistance for adults. These partnerships broaden an organization’s reach to meet the needs of adults across the Lower Hudson Valley region. Through our programs, students can secure industry relevant certifications, obtain employment within targeted vocational areas, and advance to higher levels of future education and employment in those areas.

I am able to assess each student entering the program and develop a specific learning plan  aligned with their goals and their learning needs and styles,” said Ms. Spaziani.  “I can develop and adapt curriculum to meet the individual needs of the student and adjust as we progress using a strengths-based approach. We then build from there, going at the student’s pace until they meet their goals. It becomes life changing.
